Systems Administrator – Automation & DevOps Focus

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Rate: €400/day

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days on-site / 2 days remote)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator with a strong focus on automation and DevOps practices to join our client that is in the public sector in Brussels.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support complex enterprise infrastructures, using ServiceNow on a daily basis for incident, service request, and change management.
• Maintain and support virtualized environments, including:
• VMware (enterprise environments)
• Hyper-V (distributed/remote environments)
• Nutanix / RESCOM (restricted environments)
• Ensure stability, performance, and security, particularly in environments handling highly confidential data.
• Administer Windows Server 2016–2022.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator in large-scale, enterprise environments
• Strong hands-on experience with automation and scripting, especially PowerShell
• Solid expertise in:
• VMware, Hyper-V, and enterprise virtualization platforms
• Windows Server administration and Active Directory
• Red Hat Linux and Red Hat Satellite
• Experience working in security-sensitive or regulated environments
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and ServiceNow
• Experience collaborating with DevOps teams and Agile/SCRUM methodologies
